As you probably know, we've gathered feedback from the original Beta members during our initial phases of Beta Testing. During the month we've received more than 11,000 ideas from you, which is an awesome result! We're extremely excited about the ideas and will definitely use your feedback to develop Habbo further.
We're closing the feedback forum for July and August so that we'll get time to catch up with all the ideas you've posted. The forum will re-appear in the fall, after which you will be able to post the fresh new ideas you've come up with during the summer.
In addition to things we've already done based on your feedback (like whispering), we're also looking for more ideas! Here are a few examples of what we're looking for:
* Guestrooms that look like outside spaces - we've seen all the fantastic rooms created with the Country set, so we're looking at ways to make creating outdoor spaces easier.
* New Clothing and Accessories - this is a massively big project so please don't expect it to appear immediately. We've read over a thousand clothing ideas posted to the clothing feedback forum and will definitely want to add more clothing to Habbo. Stay tuned, we'll tell you more about this when we can.
* Better Rights management in guestrooms - it seems the current way you can give rights to other users just isn't good enough. Organizing games or running a room often requires giving rights to other people, which often results in your room being wrecked. We hadn't realized how big of an issue this was before and will definitely do things make this feature better. If you haven't noticed, the new Beta Habbo is already better than the old Habbo for managing room rights, since you can remove rights from individual Habbos you've given rights to using the Advanced Room Settings.
* Pick up all furni from my room feature - it's already on its way!
* Bringing HC Commands back - we're looking at how to bring back the commands and simultaneously improve them. The current lists aren't very good for many of the things you've told us you're using the commands for, so we're looking at making your Habbo lives easier while using the commands as well.
* BRB/AFK/AWAY indicators when you go AFK - a simple good idea and we can totally see the need for this.
* Sending a message along with friend request - what an obviously awesome idea! We'll definitely do this.
Regarding how these features (as well as other new things) will be implemented: one of the big reasons we implemented the new Habbo version was that it's now easier to develop Habbo further. The old Habbo software was very old and it was getting harder and harder to create new features for Habbo every month without introducing a load of bugs as well as other problems every time we released something new. Hence, all new features will be implemented quicker and easier into the new Habbo version.
We know many of you still prefer to use the old Habbo client version and may not like the fact that new features only appear in the new Habbo but this is the only way we can move forward. Having said that, we've read a ton of feedback about the things you've disliked about the Beta, and have already fixed a lot of things you said were difficult to use. For example, we simplified the Navigator quite a bit in Open Beta and you can now browse the event categories using the category listing in the Everyone tab, pretty much like you used to be able to. We're still working on all aspects of the new Habbo so please check out Beta every now and then to see all the new and exciting things unfolding!
