It's time you dirty, kitchen donkeys. Wash up because I don't allow filth in my kitchen. The challenges have now begun in search of a new Executive Chef in my steamy, fiery competition of Kitchen Survivor.
Challenge 1 - Culinary Commercial
Create a 30-second video to advertise your restaurant or cooking show.
Rules:
- Your footage should be no more than 30 seconds in length - a few seconds over or under is fine!
- The commercials need to be filmed in Habbo preferably in a kitchen. No real live footage please.
- Post it on YouTube. (Remember that when you create a YouTube profile, no personal information should be displayed. Use your Habbo name as your profile name if you can.)
Tips from ChefPiers
- Wikipedia has a great list of screencasting software you can use, Hypercam may be a good place to start.
- Before you press the record button, I suggest giving it a few trial runs.

Challenge 2 - Stir It Up
Cook a national dish and take a creative photo of it. Presentation is the key for this competition. It doesn't matter how good it tastes as long as it looks yum! The dish you prepare must have a boiled egg in a bowl to the side of it.
How to submit: Submit your screenshot by email to competitions.us@sulake.com
Subject line: Stir It Up / (PUT HABBO NAME HERE)
Email must include: Pic of cooked dish with boiled egg and your Habbo name.
The Rules
- Cook a creative dish of food with boiled egg in bowl to side of it.
Deadline to Submit for both challenges: Thursday, September 10th @ 12PM ET / 9AM PT.
10 Semifinalist will be chosen from each challenge. The semifinalists will be posted with their creations and then the community will vote for a finalist. Each finalist from each challenge will then go on to compete in Ultimate Kitchen Survivor.
Prizing: Each finalist chosen by the community will win a Special Edition Kitchen Wallpaper and the Level 2 Sous Chef Badge.
Get working, stop standing around. My kitchen is not going to function by staring at me. Get cooking!
