Calling the Maid of Honor and Best Man to the Mic!

The final Wedding competition begins...

Do you have what it takes to stand up tall and proud next to our happy couple Chloe and Marcel? Do you know the right words to say at the right time? Well if you do this might just be the right competition for you.

WEDDING POETRY TOAST COMPETITION

Do you want a chance to become Marcel's Best Man or Chloe's Maid of Honor? All you have to do is follow the simple rules below. One winner will be chosen for each open position: the Best Man and Maid of Honor. Both winners will receive the Wedding Bell badge, a Typo, and VIP access to the Wedding Party on Friday, October 2nd.

RULES:

Each “Wedding Toast” must be in the form of a LIMERICK POEM. The poem must be no longer than 5 lines and have the following rhyme scheme: A, A, B, B, A.

Here’s an example:
Marcel loves his Chloe the most.
Of Marcel, Chloe does often boast.
He proposed on one knee
And she answered with glee!
Now all raise your glasses and toast!

Be sure to say something nice about the happy couple. Remember, this speech is to take place after the wedding has already occurred.

How to Submit Your Entry:
Go to the Wedding group page forums HERE. Be sure to post your poem in the appropriate topic. Maid of Honor or Best Man
Please stay true to the limerick poem outline.
If you post anything other than a poem, you will be removed from the competition.
If you steal any one else’s submission and post it as your own, you will be disqualified from further wedding events. You will also have your Wedding Bell badge removed if you have earned one.

Your deadline to submit is Sunday September 27th at 1PM PT/ 4PM ET. No submissions after that time will be accepted.

Good luck!
