Can't Live Without Habbo?

We know the feeling! That's why we have created the ability to embed Habbo into web pages.

We've created a very cool new feature in Habbo which allows anyone - including you - to embed Habbo into any website in the world. Embedding is a bit of a technical term so here's what it means in practice.

When you're in any room inside Habbo, open the room information by clicking the room icon. The menu has a new small text box, which contains a bit of HTML code.

As you might already know, HTML is the script language used to create web pages. Now, if you ever create a web page or tweak a page you've already created before, you can copy and paste this HTML code into your site to put a Habbo window right onto your web page. Once you've done the embedding anyone who visits that page can see your room! And that's what embedding really means.

Isn't this like horribly insecure?

Nope! Your Furni is just as safe as before. You just need to remember one thing - never ever type your Habbo password anywhere in the web, unless you know it's the Real Habbo Website. Be especially wary on any website that promises you free Habbo Credits, as free Habbo Credits do not exist!

Knowing you're in the Real Habbo Website is very easy, but requires a bit of concentration. Each web page has an address known as a URL. You can see the URL of every web page on the top of your web browser window. Now, to know a web page that asks for your password is the Real Habbo Website, check that the URL begins with "http://www.habbo.com/" OR "https://www.habbo.com/". If it's anything else, it's not Habbo!

See our example image above.

How do I know I'm safe?
In case of the Embed, when you sign into Habbo, we open a small window that asks for your password. Check you see that window and check the URL on top of this window, using the instructions above.
