Our Daily News of Habboween page has just launched! It's filled with chilling competitions, terrifying testimonials, and spine-tingling news you won't find anywhere else! We are in need of a few good reports and some smashing headlines. Check out our two new competitions that will help us dig up the best dirt - cemetery or otherwise.

Have you seen or witnessed something so mysterious, so inexplicable that you can barely find the words to describe it? Has it brought you to tears and or shocked your hair into early grayness? We want to know what you have to tell! In the USER TESTIMONIALS section at the bottom of the Habboween 09 group page click on the 'SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE' button and fill out the form. VIDEO TESTIMONIALS
We've heard many rumors and not-yet-proven "facts" about the creepiness abound in the Hotel lately. Some say it is just due to the bright flash a few weeks ago which or may not have been caused by some supernatural force. Of course, those theories have yet to be confirmed. The rest of the staff and I are just going to go about our daily business until they are. "Supernatural forces..." Ha! Yeah, right... There are too many loose ends and inconsistencies. If you think you can prove us wrong, that there really are unearthly powers at work, then you can submit a video testimonial! Film your thrilling adventures in Habbo. Do your best to capture and report any of these strange events. Remember: the imagination knows no bounds!
Rules:
- Your footage should be no more than 2 minutes in length - a few seconds over or under is fine!
- The videos need to be filmed in Habbo. No real live footage please!
- Be uploaded to Youtube in the regular size (NOT widescreen)
- Even though you are filming the footage your Habbo MUST also be in the video.
- Post it on YouTube. (Remember that when you create a YouTube profile, no personal information should be displayed. Use your Habbo name as your profile name if you can.)
- If your video is concluded to prove some strange activity in the Hotel, it will be added to the official Habboween 09 playlist (located on the Habboween 09 group page).
- All approved video directors and up to 3 friends will earn the Habboween 09 Camera badge.
- All must be seen talking in the video and names listed on the YouTube video description.
- Videos will be added to the playlist daily!
- We will not feature any videos that fail to meet the above criteria, so check and make sure before you upload!
Tips from CrestHawk:
- Wikipedia has a great list of screencasting software you can use, Hypercam is my top choice.
- Before you press the record button, I recommend giving it a few trial runs.
How to Submit:
Submit a link to your footage on YouTube.com along with your Habbo name at the bottom of this article.
