We’re so excited about the High School Musical 2 Deluxe Dance Edition DVD release on September 23rd that we’re having a dance competition in Habbo!
That’s right! Get your dance team together now and start practicing. The dance teams may consist of 2 to 5 Habbos (sorry no solo acts). Make a Trax mix, choose your outfits and start working on a routine. We’re looking for high energy and great choreography.
All dance team members must be available to perform in one of the 6 audition slots 9/24-9/25 and available for the Live Dance Competition on 9/26 at 4pm (PT).
How to Enter:
Create a Group Page for your dance team. Close the Group so only the dance team members are in it and show the group members widget on the group page and any other information about the dance team that you’d like to post. You may enlist “alternate” dancers in case a member of your team can’t perform. If selected, you will need to bring your Trax CD to the auditions. The deadline to submit your team to the competition is Sunday, September 21st.
Once you’re team is set, submit your Team name, Group URL, and audition time preference in the form below. You can only enter the poll once, so have everything ready before you start.
10 teams will be randomly selected to audition for the staff judges. The audition winners will be announced on September 23rd. That’s the same day that the High School Musical 2 Deluxe Dance Edition DVD is released, so we know you’ll be excited, but remember to check back here to see if you made the cut.

Before you enter the poll, confirm that everyone on the team is available to perform together at one of the audition times listed below and at the finals on Friday, September 26th at 4pm PT.

* All audition times are in listed in Pacific Time (That means if you live in the US on the east coast you want to add 3 hours to the time. For example, 4pm PT = 7pm ET.)

Everyone Gets To Vote:
After the auditions 4 teams will be chosen to compete in the finals on September 26th at 4pm (PT). This event will be screen captured and videos of the routines will be posted on the High School Musical 2 Group. Everyone in Habbo will get to see the videos and vote for their favorite dance team. On Friday, October 3rd, we’ll announce the winner in the High School Musical 2 Dance Lounge. Plus, we’ll be hosting a big dance party and broadcasting live over Habbo Radio.
