of course not all bands are like this. only the new, hot, bands that seem to sound alike. stuff like xx, girls, mgmt(not indie), vampire weekend and whatever is currently overhyped.

Up in the Air was a good movie! George Clooney's mannerisms are so endearing. that smile of his... *swoons*

listen to Friendly Fires. they're an insanely catchy alternative/dance punk band.

Broken Bells - James Mercer (of The Shins) and Danger Mouse (of Gnarles Barkley) collaborated to create a new project. It's pretty cool. It sounds like the shins when you first listen to it, because it's James Mercer's unique voice. But he actually does different things from it that makes it differ from The Shins. It's pretty cool.
