AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome) is a disease characterized by the destruction of the human immune system. It stands today as a global epidemic, that originated in sub-Saharan Africa. Aids destroys the body's ability to fight infections.

The One Campaign is an effort by Americans to rally Americans – one by one – to fight the emergency of global AIDS and extreme poverty. This campaign hopes to lead to success in the future.
