People love Edward because he's just everything you can dream about in a guy, which it almost impossible to find. Jacob is, in my opinion, immature, but he's a teen at heart, so who can blame him?

Yeah I remember watching a youtube video of Stephenie Meyer talking about the cast, and she mentioned "i know most of you think Robert Pattinson may not be the best Edward. But he's doing an amazing job. Even I'm surprised. I know so many people will love him too when they'll see the movie."

I agree completely. When I read New Moon the first time I had to count how many chapters til Edward returned. It was so long and boring. -.-
All the scenes with Edward and Bella are usually amazing, I love rereading that too. ♥
And also, Robert Pattinson is not at all how I pictured Edward. And now when I read it, that is the image I get .. I don't like him as Edward .. Ill still watch the movie, perhaps he'll do alright.

I love these books. I don't know about you guys but I went back and read all the books again, then went back and read all my favorite parts. [: Which included all the scenes with Edward and Bella alone. Haha. And I agree on New Moon being a slow read without Edward.

Does anyone not like the person they casted for Edward? I don't like him personally but that's just me.
