Popular broadway shows-
Wicked- Children and adults alike will enjoy Wicked, which tells the story that proceeds The Wizard of Oz from the Wicked Witch of the West's perspective. While the book might be a bit dark for children, the musical is family-friendly and includes excellent performances and music throughout.

Leah's personal favorite's-
Wicked-Wicked was the first broadway show I ever saw,and forever being a fan of The Wizard Of Oz, I fell inlove with it. The lyrics, the costumes, the plot line, all are amazing. I really suggest seing this play if you havent already. The book is nothing like the show,so dont go around thinking that the show is like that, becaue its not. Wicked is wickedly amazing :].

Avenue Q- Think Sesame Street grows up with Avenue Q, a musical complete with phonetics lessons, pooorn addicted monsters and puppets looking for life's purpose. Avenue Q won three 2004 Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
The Lion king-
This musical features amazing costumes and many scenes where the performers dance and move through the aisles, which is sure to excite children and parents alike. The music is mesmerizing, and while visually the show doesn't resemble Disney's The Lion King movie as much as Beauty and the Beast does, it's entrancing and beautiful nonetheless.
