Tune into Habbo Radio now!
Singer/songwriter guitarist PATRICK DRONEY makes his national label debut September bobbawith The Other Side (Reform Records). The album features twelve songs including "Everything" co-written with Chris Henderson of 3 Doors Down, and "Alive" co-written with Ben Burnley of Breaking Benjamin. The first single "Save Me" will start getting nationwide radioplay in September. Patrick has performed at The Montreal Jazz Festival, The Whiskey A-Go-Go, BB King's Blues Clubs (LA and NYC), The Bamboozle Music Festival, and House of Blues, just to name a few. His band (in 2006) was even the youngest to play the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ, according to Vintage Guitar Magazine. He has been the support band for such legends as BB King and the late James Brown and recently completed a 30 city Summer Camp tour performing to kids ages 8-18.
Patrick, is among the youngest to receive multiple guitar endorsements, having started playing guitar when he was 7. He grew up listening to all kinds of music including Eric Clapton and Ray Charles. Critics have compared his talent to one that combines Stevie Raye Vaughan and John Mayer while adding his own original style. His debut album not only showcases his guitar playing abilities (he won the Robert Johnson Star Award for most promising musician) but it also showcases his songwriting. When not performing he is busy with his philanthropic work- having raised over 1 million dollars for charities that help other kids or other musicians.
