Habbo Book Club Exclusive group

Spread the word!!! Anyone that you feel is responsible, and dedicated enough to participate in this group should be notified! The more members the better!

On Monday, November 24th, Habbo Book Club will begin their first book. To get the group on the edge of their seats, my first selection is, "IT", by Stephen King. I understand that since this is a new group not many people will have joined by the starting date, and will probably have no way of getting the book in a timely manner. It's never to late to jump in though. Feel free to message me if you have any questions about our first book.

Making a successful book club on Habbo will be hard, but with some dedicated members, I'm sure we can create a well structured group. As we begin new books, I will post the author and book title on the group page for everyone to see. To assure everyone is on the same 'page' (haha) I will post a starting date for each new book the group begins to read. If I am enjoying the book, I usually read anywhere from 50 to 80 pages a day so anyone willing to commit will need to make sure they can keep up.

If you are participating in the Habbo Book Club, please refrain from posting any revealing story parts on the guestbook. Other people may not be up to the point you are currently at, and a spoiled book is never any fun to read. The guestbook is simply there for broad discussions that do not necessarily relate to the current story. Talking in a more detailed manner, about the plot for instance, should be saved for a private chat.

If all goes as planned, after the reading of each book, we will open a forum for book requests. After we get all of our requests, we will narrow it down to what is appropriate, and best fit for the group. The rest can be decided by a majority vote of the group members.

    I don't know if I can get my hands on a copy of "It" anytime soon, but may I suggest "Water For Elephants" by Sara Gruen for the next reading? :D

    Welcome to the Habbo Book Club. If you have joined the group, I assume you plan on participating in our readings of our first book, "It".
