Hello everyone. Just a few comments about the guestbook. I want to thank everyone for their comments and honesty.

It is important to remember that this group is about erasing hate, in all its forms. Yes, Matthew was murdered because he was gay, but he could just as easily been hurt because of his gender, religion, size or any of the other things that make us different.

Regardless of our personal beliefs, it is never okay to hurt someone because of who they are.

We are going to try something new. MSF InfoBus sessions will be held each Monday at 1:00 pm PT. Check back here for any dates when sessions will not occur.

The Matthew Shepard Foundation was founded by Dennis and Judy Shepard in memory of their 21-year old son, Matthew, who was murdered in an anti-gay hate crime in Wyoming in October 1998.

Created to honor Matthew in a manner that was appropriate to his dreams, beliefs and aspirations, the Foundation seeks to "Replace Hate with Understanding, Compassion & Acceptance" through its varied educational, outreach and advocacy programs and by continuing to tell Matthew's story.

poor matthew.., i think its lame how the world can be so harsh to some people, and it kills me to see others hurting one another. we should all just get along and stop the fighting put lame fights behind us and just become friends, dont be afraid to get to know new people, they may be awesome no matter who they are.

I know it's been a year, but I am still so glad that Habbo itself created this group. It's nice to know that this site supports Matthew Shepard as well as putting a stop to all these stupid hate crimes and bullying. Good move, Habbo!
