Kurt Cobain killed himself. When he was younger, he spoke of wanting to join the 27 Club, which is a group of amazing musicians who died at age 27. He died when he was 27. He was having a rough time as well, so he probably thought, "Eh, why not." And killed himself. He got his dream, and escaped his troubles.
