But people did say it would end 1997 and 2000 but we're still here and it's 2007. And about those super volcanoes, we should have a defense against them b/c we need one terribly b/bobbaody wants to die by a fhuckin volcano that has a under ground magma chamber with a crater covering 50 meters of land i think why should we appreciate Yellow Stone if it could kill us all Why? I don't appreciate the massive covered crater that could explode and destroy 90% of the nation we built. And prevent the opening of the San Sebastian Resort in 2026 uh HELL NO!!! im not letting a damn volcano ruin my future or no nanobots that i can crush or the sun.
A defensive shield that could withstand a million times the power of the H-Bomb and Nukes could possibly contain the blast of a volcano if we could build it and had advanced tech.
Just imagine yellow stone erupting but a defensive shield surrounds the crater and a a few more meters of land and no matter how much energy is in that blast the shield contains the blast and saves all of man-kind from doom but the land needs serious cleaning and the wild life was evacuated before the blast.

It could work if we just put our minds to it and cared enough to save all of man-kind rather than moving to Europe, Mex, Caribbean, Asia, Aus and over crowding it and suffering nuclear winter. I'd rather go with plan A: The Shield
