How do I become a Habbo Guide? To be a Habbo Guide, you must click the 'join group' link at the top right of the page, once you are in the group you will need to reload your Habbo client. You should now see a blue icon in the top left of the client window.
Why do I not have my Guide icon? There is a number of reasons for this, if you are a new player you will have to experience the hotel for one month before it will appear. If you have any record of bans on your account, this could also stop it from showing. If you have never been banned, and you have seen it before, you may have had a minor (2 hour) ban after signing off. In this case, your Guide tool should return within 14 days. If you still don't have it, you should clear all your cookies and temp Internet files by going to Tools > Options > Clear Private Data/Delete Files and select all.
Why do I not have any animal badges? This is the most common question! You will get your first badge after you complete your first guide.
How do I complete a 'guide'? A 'guide' will count towards your total successful guides if the following conditions are met:- The new Habbo remains on your friends list for 3 days and the new Habbo continues to visit the Hotel over the next 3 days. If you remove your charge (the person who you have been assigned to guide) before they are automatically removed, it will void that guide.
When will I get my next badge? We cannot tell this, you will just have to keep guiding until you get it, good luck!
How do I level up? As said above you need to make sure you keep in contact with the users you're helping to level up your badge status. Be sure to meet them in their room or a public room whenever possible.
You can level up easily if you thrive in helping someone the most. If you put your mind to it you can accomplish anything.
Gaining a new level gets progressively harder as you work your way through them.
The new user keeps asking me for coins or furniture. What do I do? For a new user it can be exciting for them and they can easily get overwhelmed about being on Habbo, they might think because you're their guide you give out freebies, the best way to deal with this situation is to not leave and delete the user from your list and find another, tell them to have a look at the catty and tell them about credits and where you can get them from, none the less they receive free furniture (when they select their new room) every 24 hours. If you're feeling generous give them at least one piece of furniture. (Obviously something you do not need) teach them what there is to know about furniture and credits.
I'm guiding but just got recently been banned, what happens? Not to worry (although you should be following the Habbo Way - always), you do not lose your badge(s) you just cannot guide for a while again.
What happens when I remove it from my favourite do I lose my helping tool and badge(s)? No your badge(s) and tool will still remain there.
I'm guiding the maximum limit to helping users! What does this mean? This basically means you're guiding ten new users and cannot go any higher unless you delete a few users, example: you delete four users who have not been active in the hotel for a few days you will be able then to guide four new users. (be sure to reload your client)
I keep getting kicked from the new users’ room, how come? This is most likely because they need personal space or probably because they are hyped up about being on Habbo and do not understand what the buttons might do, for instance they might think "Kick" means kicking the Habbo with the avatar's leg. Other than that some users might ask for furniture and might kick you because you're not giving them it - my best guess to delete the user and find another user to help who is not so demanding and greedy.
How can I get the wolf badge? This badge is given to those who are deemed worthy of wearing it around the hotel, this badge is given out by the Habbo Staff and cannot be gained as a level.
When I'm levelling up do I lose my previous badge(s) I've earned? No you get to keep them! :) I was in a room with a few other guides, one of them started a row with me, what should I do? Remain calm, do not blow a fuse and make sure to revisit the new user when the other Guide has left the room. Do not delete the new user because you could not get your say in just revisit and greet them. When helping a new user does it automatically add me as a friend? Yes when you pick up a call via the Help Tool and you hit "Yes" this will then lead you to the new users’ room and will add them into your friend list. I cannot find the users and I've forgotten their names what should I do? You could always take down the names on a piece of paper; this might come in handy if you want to remember their names. You could always categorize them into a separate friends list by going to Account Settings > Friend Management > Friend categories and add the users you're helping into there so you will not forget names instead of searching through many friends. The user I'm helping is talking another language, what should I do? The best way to deal with this situation is to call someone to the room say maybe a friend on your friend list and ask them if they speak that specific language. The other two solutions would be to use a translator or direct them to another Habbo Hotel that suits their language. If you find that you cannot understand what they are saying still guide them as they could meet other users that know his/her language.

A) Simple and easy! -Tell them some hints and tricks!
•-Help them make there first bit of furniture! •-Give them a tour around armies.. fashion rooms.. •-Pair them up with a other new Habbo let them make friends! ( Who doesn't like new friends?! ) •-Teach them on how to get coins, and also desigin their own homepages with cool stickers! •-Tell them about the new competitions and events that is going around the hotel! •-Challenge them in SnowStorm, Battleball or even WobbleSquabble! •-Explain them about the fun benefits of being Hc ( Habbo Club! ) •-Show them your groups and even teach them on how to create one too! •-Play fridge games... Q) Why can't i reach the level x? ( Wolf )
A) Remember: Only 6 People At Any One Time Can Yield The Wolf Badge... These People Are Picked By Habbo Staff And They Are Expected To Help The Guides Widen Their Knowledge! Wolves are NOT Habbo staff, they just have the power to REMOVE threads, and delete posts that are breaking the Habbo Way.
Q) The Habbo im guiding is breaking the Habbo way... what should i do!?
A) Tell them what there doing is breaking the Habbo way and strongly warn them of what will happen to them if they still break the rules! Some people " Pretend " to be new Habbos and curse on the guides... remember you HAVE the rights to USE the ignore button and DELETE them from you friends list so you can have MORE slots to guide MORE Habbo(s).
Q) MODs ( Moderators ) are NOT replaying at my CFH ( Call for help ) and the person i am guiding is asking me for my P.A.S.S.W.O.R.D!
A) As you know.. moderators are VERY busy... you might think the job is easy but it actually isn't...they get about 10 Call for helps in about 1 second... Some people just spam it... which will lead them into getting BANNED! Always remember.. you have the rights to use the IGNORE tool!
Q) What are the Guide Requirements?
A) Here below are the requirements for each badge so you'll always be in the know.
Q) The person i am guiding is asking me to go to his site... should i?! i mean... it's a forum too!
A) Scams on the forums/off the client
This is basically the same deal as the advertisements in Habbo claiming free credits if you visit a certain site - but it is worth noting there is a lot of these scams on the forums and you should never ever click these links and don't quote what they say either - some people have been banned for this even though they weren't the ones doing the scamming!
Q) What are pixels? and how many pixels can i get for each level?!
A) Here are the amount of pixels you get per guide badges.
Q) How can you guide more then 10 Habbos? recently people are telling me that you can, oh oh i wanna guide more Habbos not fair!!
A) You can help as many as ten at once and you will have to wait three days. If they have been on for a reasonable amount of time they will be 'guided' and you can start on a new 10.
Q) i have joined but i don't have badge or penguins?
A) You get Penguins daily during x-mas 2oo8 [ In December ] But it's all over now. Your email had to be active, and you must be online daily to receive the penguin of the day.
Step one: •- You must be IN-Group to start guiding. •- You must be at LEAST 30-31 days old to start guiding. •- You must have NO recent bans, otherwise you will need to wait for at least 14 days to start guiding again. •- Never DELETE the person from your friends list once you guide him, if you keep deleting him, you will NOT receive guide points, and for that you will NOT level-up.
Once you join RE-LOAD the hotel > To begin accepting invitations, click on the Guide icon when you're in a hotel room (top left corner). > When new people join Habbo, Habbo will ask them if they'd like to meet a Guide. If they say yes, Habbo will send alerts to members of this group who are in the Hotel at the same time. Accept the invitation and you'll be whisked off to meet the new person. You can guide them around Habbo and show them what it's about. And IF they are active and have enough time online for three days, You will be awarded When you get enough rewards, you go a level up. A level up is a new badge, check them out from the Habbo Guides group page. Once you are rewarded for helping a new player, a blank spot will appear on your list again for a new user.
Q) What is with all this 'muting thing' is it cause i joined the Habbo guides group? i don't get it...
A) Some words trigger what's known as the Habbo Muting System. It helps reducing the bans somehow, Just don't forget to ALWAYS obey the Habbo way and never do anything that is against the Habbo Way, if you do so, you shall get yourself a warning, and even muted, keep doing it, and you shall get yourself BANNED!
Q) Where is my 'Blue guide' icon?
Q) It is at the top left hand corner.
Q) I Don't get this... some people that i am guiding are speaking another language.. and i sure don't understand... should i delete them...? or what should i do...?'
A) NO! Do NOT delete the person... it's easy.. try using Google translator or even ask him what language he is speaking and try to find someone who speaks the same language... Some people just visit the US hotel when they have maintenance in there hotel!
Q) I was hacked!! and scammed!! can ANYONE in this forum help me get my furniture back?!?? please!!
A) In general, an account cannot be hacked into. A user has to have had released some info or followed some command in order for the scammer to gain access to their account. Please note that Habbo are not responsible when a player is scammed, it is the player's responsibility to keep their account safe. Because of the user's compliance in the scam, it is policy that Habbo cannot return or refund stolen furni.
Your account is your account, your furniture is your furniture, Trust NO ONE!
Q) Is there anyway i can be an admin in the official Habbo Guides group?
A) No, ONLY Level x ( Wolves ) get to be admins.
Q) What happens if leave the group? can i still guide and will i lose my animal badges?
A) No, you can't guide once you leave the group. Yes, you will still have your badges, they aren't going anywhere. ;)
Q) What's the difference between a Habbo X and a Guide?
A) Habbo X generally greeted and helped new players in the Welcome Lounge and game lobbies and could be recognized by their 'X' badge. Guides are experienced players who join the Habbo Guide group and accept invitations to go and help new players in their guest room. Guides are recognized by their animal badges, with each type of animal denoting a level of guiding experience.
Q) What happened to the Habbo Xs ( eXperts ) ?
A) The Habbo X team was replaced by the Habbo Guide group in the summer of 2008.
Q) Do you get ANYTHING else other then badges when being a guide?
A) Yes, a fuzzy warm-feeling at the end of the day, and of course friends! ( Who doesn't like having one?! )
Q) The guide tool appeared on my screen, is there anyway i can remove it without leaving the Habbo guides group?
A) No, if you want it to leave you will have to leave the group.
Q) The tool keeps loading somehow, its taking too long.. and i think this is a glitch.. cause i have been waiting for about 1 hour!!
A) No, it's not a glitch... Patience is the answer ;)!

A) RE-LOAD the hotel.

A) Worry not! you can still guide more Habbo(s)! some new users just wanna test the buttons... and what do they do.. so they might have accidentally deleted you.. or they just want some space...
Q) Woah! i use to have A-LOT of threads in this group! where did they go?!?!
A) Recently The Level X team ( Wolves ) worked pretty hard on DELETING the SPAM threads. They have created only a few threads that will help us REDUCE the spam; making it easier for the new users to read instead of going to all threads to find an answer.
Q) Is it true that if you break a friendship, you will never level-up?
A) It sure is. ;)
Q) Where do Habbo guides and head guides usually hang out?
A) A-LOT of Habbo guides love to hang at the welcome lounge ( It's a public room ) where all new-comers get welcomed!

What happens if, when you try to search for new people, it says "You are already guiding the max. amount of new users"?
You can only guide 10 new Habbos at any one time. Once one of your guided users has enough online time and you have gained a guide point for that person, your guide tool will allow you to guide another user. That's how it works. If after a few days, there is a user who hasn't logged back in, you may want to delete them so you can guide another new Habbo.
