What happens if naughty Habbos don’t stick to the Habbo Way?

If you break the Habbo Way you may receive an alert from a Moderator asking you to stop. Alternatively you may be removed from the room you are in or banned from Habbo Hotel for a time relative to the seriousness of your actions!

For example scamming someone will result in a Permanent ban from Habbo Hotel, meaning you lose all your furniture and credits! Is it really worth it?

Who's been a Naughty Habbo then? Breaking the Habbo Way is unsafe for you and other users within Habbo and will result in your Habbo being banned. If you are banned, you will receive a message saying you are unable to enter the Hotel.

Follow these quick tips on how to keep safe online:

- Never share your pass with anyone, Habbo Staff will NEVER ask for your pass.
- Dont visit any websites you feel may be risky to visit.
- If it sounds too good to be true, it is.
- Keep updating yourself with the Habbo Way.
- Your details are yours, keep them yours don't share them.

The Habbo Way is a simple set of rules for all players to follow:

* Do not bully, harass or abuse other players; avoid violent or aggressive behaviour.

* Do not steal or scam passwords, credits or furniture from other players.

* Keep your password and personal details secret and never try to gain this information from other players.

* You may not give away, sell or trade your Habbo account or seek to sell virtual items from Habbo for cash.

* Do not take part in sexual activities, make sexual proposals or respond to them.

* Do not use any scripts or third party software to enter, disrupt or modify Habbo.

Treat other players as you would wish to be treated! And remember that a crime in a virtual world is as serious as in the real world.

Am I allowed to use a Special Program to alter things in Habbo?

No, because these programs change the code that is sent from your computer to the Habbo Hotel servers. This is expressly forbidden in the Terms and Conditions. Any Habbo using such programs will be banned permanently and his/her details may be passed on to the police.

This applies to any changes you make to your Habbo character, to guest rooms and to items of furniture.

You walk into a Room on Habbo and notice someone breaking the Habbo way, what do you do?

If someone is breaking the Habbo Way in a room you are in, simply click the Habbo and click 'Ignore' to filter out any chat made by this user. If another Habbo is making you feel unsafe, please use the Call for Help to alert this to an on duty Moderator. To do this click the 'Help' button and send a report to a Moderator who will review the situation.
