What is Habbo Beta?

Over the last few months, we have been busy creating a new update for Habbo with tons of improvements. This update will be launched separately soon and a small amount of specially selected users will be invited to check out the new Habbo Update in a Beta testing environment. These lucky Habbos will be chosen and contacted by the Hotel Manager(s). Moderators or Player Support are not able to place you in the Beta test. All testers are chosen by the Hotel Managers and no one else. Please do not use the Call for Help or Help Tool to request access to the Beta.

How do I get to be a Habbo Beta-tester?

You can apply by telling Hotel Management why you would be a good Beta Tester. All Habbo Beta testers will be chosen and contacted by Hotel Management. Moderators have nothing to do with this and all information will be given to you by Hotel Management, no one else.

Can I join the group?

Unfortunately you cannot. To maintain the integrity of test results and to provide you with the best possible end product The Beta group is for Beta testers only.

How will I know if I've been chosen as a Beta tester?

If you are chosen, Hotel Management will let you know, by sending you a message on your personal landing page.

When does the beta Testing start in my country?

All information about when the Habbo Beta starts in your country will be provided to those Habbos that are chosen to participate in it. Moderators or Player Support cannot tell you this. All information will be given to the chosen Beta testers by Hotel Management.

I think that I've been falsely invited as a Beta tester. How can I tell if this the case or not?

If you received the invitation in any other way than by a message to your personal landing page it is a false invitation. Do not click on any links, or give out any information it asks you - it is most likely a trick, and a threat to your Habbo account security.

I was directed to another website that claims to be Habbo Beta. Is this a real thing?

No, it is not. It is probably a scam site. Stay clear of it. The only place to access the Habbo beta is from the official Habbo site!

Why wasn't I included?

As you can imagine, we received a lot of applications and could only choose a certain amount of users to take part in this Beta test. We also tried to choose a wide range of different Habbos to ensure we get as many different opinions as possible. You never know, you might be lucky the next time we do a Beta!

Will my Rooms stay the same in new Client?

Yes, your room will stay the same.

What happens with Pets, are they ever coming back?

We are still working on some of the features and you will get information about them later.

When can we have Snow Storm and BB back?

We are still working on some of the features and you will get information about them later.

Are trax ever coming back?

We are still working on some of the features and you will get information about them later.

How many invitations there will be per user?

How do I use the code I got from a friend?

Go to the Beta group page, click the “Got an Beta invitation? Join!”, insert the code in the field of the pop up window and click “OK”. Log out of the Habbo, log back in and you will see the Beta log in -button.

How do I give codes to my friends?

In the Me-page you will see how many invitations you have left. Click the “Generate invitation” and you will get a code that you can then send to a friend.

What features are not available in Habbo Beta?

The following features are not available in Habbo Beta at present: - Ecotron - Games (Snowstorm, Battleball etc) - Guides - Trax - Moodlights.

Where can I leave feedback on Habbo Open Beta?

Do I get a badge for using Beta?

If you were one of the original 650 to test closed Beta you will receive the grey Lab Rat badge.

If you were not invited to the closed Beta, but are now using Beta that's open to everyone you will not receive a badge.

How do I create an event in Habbo Beta?

To create an event, enter your room and click on the room icon in the left hand toolbar. Click the 'Create Event' button and fill in a title and description for your event. Select a category and enter any descriptive tags you wish. Finally click the 'Create' button.

Live events are displayed by category under the 'Everyone' tab of the navigator.

How do I get to Hotel View in Beta?

If you do not have a home room selected, clicking the bird's nest icon on the left hand toolbar will return you to Hotel View.
