Information for and about the Habbo X program in the US Habbo hotel.

Where can I find a Guide?

If you are a new player you will receive a pop-up message when you enter your guest room which asks if you would like company. If you choose to accept, an invitation will be sent to Guides and if one is available, they will visit you in your room. Because Guides need to be able to find you when you want their help, you will need to stay in your room after you've called for them.

Why did the Habbo X team close?

Habbo X was a small team which players could only apply to join at certain times of the year. Because the team was small, not every experienced player who wanted to help new Habbos could join and new players often didn't know where to find an X to gain help. The Habbo Guide feature allows large numbers of players to join and work their way through 10 levels of badges which recognize their experience as a Guide. In addition, the Habbo Guide group makes it very easy for new Habbos to find the help they need.

What's the difference between a Habbo X and a Guide?

Habbo X generally greeted and helped new players in the Welcome Lounge and game lobbies and could be recognized by their 'X' badge. Guides are experienced players who join the Habbo Guide group and accept invitations to go and help new players in their guest room. Guides are recognized by their animal badges, with each type of animal denoting a level of guiding experience.

What are Habbo Xs?

Habbo X (or Habbo eXperts) was a team of experienced players who gave up some of their time to help new Habbos learn more about the game. The Habbo X team was replaced by the Habbo Guide group in the summer of 2008.
