finding the balance is hard. I know people (in other design jobs) that can't really do it. It takes practice... and someone breathing down your neck for a final product. So I'm not saying it's easy. Sometimes you just gotta let it go and move on the next thing even if you don't like what you've done or think it really represents your full potential.

yeah but you've got to find a balance between speed and craftsmanship. Too much or not enough of one can cause a disaster.
