      A good "quote" I incorporated to my speech is "be the change you want to see in the world."

      NEVER promise any "realistic things". The truth is, you can never guaranteed anything. You never know if later the school will vote your idea down or whatever. So I made it clear in my speech that I cannot make any promises, the only promise I can make is that I will make a difference. Stuff like that.

      The key to winning an election is to stand out from the rest. Make people remember you.

      As much as everyone thinks its a popularity contest, a lot of it depends on your posters and speech. Because between you and your opponents, there are still a bunch of people who don't know a lot about either candidates.

      I made excellent photoshopped and unique posters. Woke up extra early, and went to school VERY early to put posters up on the good spots.
